ProRelevant’s Chief Advisor for Data Science, Professor Pulak Ghosh of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), has been recognized for his work with the C.R. Rao National Award for Outstanding and Meritorious Research Work in Statistics. The award is given on a biennial basis to those under age 45 for making outstanding contributions to the field of statistics. The award is given by the IIM in honor of Prof. C.R. Rao, currently professor emeritus at Penn State University and a research Professor for University at Buffalo, both in the US.
“ProRelevant is proud to acknowledge our very own Prof. Ghosh for his work and achievements in the field of statistics and look forward to his continued success” said Guy Powell, Founder / CEO of ProRelevant. “His work on recent improvements in MarketSim and Preznc Report has already shown the level of expertise and new thought Pulak brings to the table and we’re very excited to have him on board working with and advising our product development efforts.” Prof. Ghosh will deliver a keynote at an event on June 29 in New Delhi, the capital city of India, to accept the award.
